A few weeks ago, popular iPhone app developer Smule launched its I am T-Pain iPhone app. This wonderful little piece of technology gave you the ability to sing along to T-Pain tracks utilizing Auto-Tune. The result is a ton of fun.
So it's been a little less than a month since I Am T-Pain hit the app store. So how has it faired? Pretty good, it looks like. Smule has told us that the app has been downloaded 300,000 times since its launch - impressive if we say so ourselves. Now they're celebrating this milestone with a price reduction, a new track (just wait until you find out which one) and a contest to give away $10,000, a Big Ass Chain, and some gold teeth. First, the numbers: according to Smule, their app has been downloaded over 300,000 times in three weeks - that's over 14,000 downloads a day. The engagement numbers though are even more impressive. The average user has spent 66 minutes with the app open and launched it 12.5 times. With that type of engagement, it shouldn't surprise anyone that there are now over 4.1 million user-generated songs produced by users of the app.
For this milestone, Smule has decided to drop the price of the app from $2.99 to $0.99 until Saturday, October 3rd. This is partially so that they can have more people participate in their I'm On a Boat contest.
I Am T Pain Auto Tune Download For Mac
Yes, that's right: the Lonely Island song I'm on a Boat featuring T-Pain is the newest song in Smule's app. And the company is asking users to create YouTube videos with them singing the song using the app. Ten of the most creative and humorous entries will win $500 and a set of 'Grillz' (gold teeth), while the best video will attain a $5000 prize, along with a ten pound 'Big Ass Chain.'
Everything about this contest is just great. It creates user engagement, helps get more people to download the app, and creates potentially viral promotional material via these user-generated YouTube videos. So if you haven't already downloaded the app, now is the time.
Fstream.h in dev c++. KeroVee is a free audio effect for Windows (VST).
Here’s what the developer has to say about it:
KeroVee is focused to so-called ‘Autotune effect’ or ‘T-Pain effect’, that is robotic but different from the vocoder.
KeroVee can mix two independent transposed outputs of pitch-corrector and bypassed output.
Let us know how much you hate T-Pain and Auto-Tuned vocals in the comments!
Kerovee has been updated to version 1.5. Here’s what’s new:
- New GUI, with the Pitch Graph.
- More stable pitch and less artifacts by new PitchDetection/Shifting algo.
- Less CPU load.
- Added the Scale select button.
